When I think of Ateez… I didn’t know anything about them until I started watching “Kingdom Legendary War”. The interactions they had with StrayKids where so damn great and they are so wholesome. Not even talk about talent… When they performed “WONDERLAND” during the show, they even put in a 4 octave vocal run by their lead singer! Not to talk about the dancing and the concepts.
When I think of Ateez nowadays, I know how great they are. They have exceptional dancers singers and rappers, not to talk about the message in their songs. They also link all their videos with one concept so you constantly thinking about how will this video/song fit in the lore.
They are really EXCELANT DANCERS. If you watch Live clips or just Dance practices, the energy they bring is so high. I really want to see them live one time.
With their latest comeback the members of Ateez become the Guerillas against the world where people just have to listen to the government and have no emotions. I do think this concept started at Kingdom when they performed “Rhythm Ta” (originally by IKON). In the episode 5 of Kingdom they changed the concept to their own story, with an addition to the Netflix show “MoneyHeist” (La Casa De Papel). They already had a rebellious side to them, and they where playing a Vynil record with the text: “The disease is human emotion”. With lead into their latest title track “Guerilla”.
