2022-10 TOP5 Music

In this topic I will tell you my favorite music from the month October.

The songs are not released in October but those are songs I tend to listen a lot during October!

  1. ONE OK ROCK – WE ARE

The first song is by an Artist I found during October because Han from StrayKids mentioned this band during his interview with Lee Mujin.

Everyone could tell the group is: One Ok Rock! and the song is “WE ARE” It’s the song Han sang a capella during the interview.

When I did a deep dive into One OK Rock I tend to watch this video over and over again!

This is from them Ambition (album name) tour during their JAPAN TOUR!

2) STRAYKIDS – SCARS (the first take)

The second song is an old song by Straykids and it’s a song I really love the music video for, but I will link the FIRST TAKE RECORDING down below.

It’s a Japanese song “SCARS” and at the “First Take Studio” the artist gets one take to record a song. So all the Mic’s are open all the time. It’s really nerve wrecking for the artist. But they nailed it. This one take recording has subtitles build in with it so you can see what the song is about. I really love the meaning of the song and they really made a great song (once again). The moment in the M/V when they have a dance break and you see Dance-Racha going to the ground and pulling their self up again. WOW!!!

3) STRAYKIDS – GIVE ME YOUR TMI

The third song is a song from their newest album “Maxident” off course I am talking about StrayKids again. The song is called “Give Me Your TMI!”. When the album was unveiled the unveil track was one of my most anticipated tracks from the album. Especially if they would put out a M/V for it. In the unveil track you could definitely see the group was in a secret mission to get the TMI. The whole vibe of the track was organized CHOAS.

The whole track went from EDM to ROCK to dubstep and it goes trough a lot of music genres. But when they actually get to the chorus of the song and you hear the guitars coming in! It’s so damn great to hear!

Not only talking about the music but now let’s talk about the M/V itself. The whole SUPER SECRET MISSION is in the theme of “Kingsman, Secret Service” All of the Members of StrayKids look really slick and like they are secret agents, with really cool gadgets and guns!

4) MUSE – GHOST (how can i move on)

Song number four on the list is a song by a group I follow for a long time! It’s Muse! They did win a EMA for best rock artist! The new album “Will of the People” is really good and it was hard for me to choose a song from the album. I really enjoyed Muse making a new ROCK MUSIC and I can not wait until the concert in June 2023.

The song I chose isn’t a typical Muse song for the big fandom they have.

I really love their slower songs from time to time.

This October I really loved to listen to the song called: “Ghost (how can I move on)”. It’s a Piano song with the amazing vocals of Matt (Matthew) Bellamy! The song is really powerful if you look at the lyrics. Everyone on this earth does have someone they miss or isn’t here anymore and the lyrics are so powerful and you can feel the pain in his singing!

5) ONE OK ROCK – STAND OUT FIT IN

Because of the story I told you guys at the first song of the whole list for this month. No other then Han Jisung made me curious about the band called “ONE OK ROCK” and when I branched out into their discography I really loved a lot of songs they released (please see their blog in the other music category). I could not get over the love for their messages in the songs…

One of the songs I really loved to watch reactions to… was the song “STAND OUT, FIT IN”. Even the M/V is so amazing! The song has the theme of an Asian boy who get’s bullied/discriminated at school for being different. At lunch the boy brings some Rice dish, and the other kids didn’t like it because he isn’t eating bread like the normal kids. At the second verse you see him grown up at high school bullying another kid for standing out, when he is at lunch he did fit in and brought his bread with him. When he is doing his homework his friends will ask him to go with them and he just goes and doesn’t give a F for his homework. You see the guys drinking and using stuff and just get into a car.

When his life (the car) crashes he stumbles out of the car and can’t barely walk. Then he sees a dressed up person, who is starting to dance. Like he is expressing his feelings. Just let yourself go and be you… The guy starts to dance with the dressed up character… and at the end he is turned back into the smaller child who is back to the younger self.

I do think the meaning is really good and it’s portraying to “BE YOURSELF” and never try to change because you want to fit in! Believe in yourself!

Only thing for me to say is Please Go and show all these artist some support and I hope you enjoyed the first installment of my TOP5

the imagery is so D*MN good!!!
