Linkin Park

When I was young, I really loved Rock and Rap music. When I found Linkin Park I was shocked about how well the genres blend. The voice of Chester was AMAZING. They also have a lot of songs where you can really SHOUT YOUR LONGS OUT. Just to cool your mind down. I really love some harder music to get lost in the energy of the group, when I need to cool down a bit. Every Saturday when my friends and me where on our way to the bar, we use to Sing “IN THE END” and shout out the lyrics… 

Hybrid Theory is still one of my favorite albums of ALLTIME!!! The emotions they put into their songs, like “crawling” “one step closer” “by myself” is so amazing. I do think everyone had to go trough some hardships as a child, the song “By Myself” hit home for me. Sometimes I felt not understand because I was a bit different from some classmates. When I watched Dragonball Z there was a fanmade video of TRUNKS from DBZ with the song BY MYSELF over it! IT WAS SO AMAZING TO SEE IT. The video gave me so much energy as a kid. I’m really grateful for Linkin Park for making the song! Later I saw the MTV version of Linkin Park work with Jay-Z and some of those songs I really loved as well.

When Chester died it was really hard for me as a fan, also because I never saw them live. When I was watching back a lot of Live footage from the band, I stumbled on the video of Chester singing “One More Light” on the tribute of his best friend Chris Cornell. Hearing his voice crack when he was singing the song, I couldn’t hold a tear. The emotion he put into that performance!
