In this topic I will tell you my favorite music from the month December.
Some songs are not released in December but those are songs I tend to listen a lot during December of this year!
1) STRAYKIDS – ALIEN (solo by Han)
This song is a longtime favorite track of me. Before the SKZ-Replay album was released it was only on youtube, so I didn’t listen to it that much… Now it’s also released on Spotify so I can put it on all my playlists!
Just like other songs written by Han, this one is so emotional. In the lyrics of this song Han talks about feeling an ALIEN on this earth because nobody understands him! This song is so powerfull for it’s lyrics… The way he rides the beat is also really good!
2) TWICE – WONDERFUL DAY
Because it’s was December there had to be a Holiday season song on my list.
In the post about Straykids Christmas album I already covert most of those songs! Twice is also one of my favorite Groups, and they have some Christmassy songs… The first one is MERRY AND HAPPY and it’s a really fun song, but for this list I would go for WONDERFULL DAY. When the song starts you hear the Christmas bells and Tzuyu starts of the song with her lovely vocals. This song is a christmas release on their Japanese album with the title track DOUGHNUT. This was the first comeback where Jeongyeon was back with the promotion tours. You could see in the clip she had a hard time and it was so amazing to see the other girls comforting her and helping her trough the performance…
After this song came out Jeongyeon was fully back and she slayed the next comebacks!!! I can not wait for the new release in March of 2023!
My bias in Twice will always be Cheayoung but I think because I watched the survivalshow called “SIXTEEN”… I could only have respect and love for all the girls… (also especially for CHEARYEONG later debuted with Itzy).
3) ONE OK ROCK – THE BEGINNING
This song by ONE OK ROCK is a song that brings me back to my “childhood”, I think this song reminds me of early 2000 pop/punk. I do think of the group “RISE AGAINST” when I hear this song. I really love the whole musical arrangement!!! This band has really got a special place in my hearth!
The amount of different genres they can play, the amount of different vocal styles the singer Taka could show… He also did a cover of HELLO by ADELE, you can really hear his vocal range in the higher registers… And in some songs he just uses a really low voice and screams out his lungs!

4) FRANK TURNER – BE MORE KIND
To all my viewers on this page… Yes, I do listen to other music then K-pop and J-Rock. When I discovered this artist on Lowlands in August 2019 (I think), He just blew me away with all the styles of music this man made (with his band “The SLEEPING SOULS”). He makes songs for every genre of your taste. This song I picked while thinking about Christmas and the holiday spirit all over the world. The whole world is a better place when people learn to “BE MORE KIND”. I really resonate with the lyrics of the song, because he tells you: “Before you do anything say to yourself BE MORE KIND”.
In this song he gives about 5 types of situations you should think with the message: BE MORE KIND! My philosophy in life is: “TREAT OTHERS THE WAY YOU WANT TO BE TREATED!!!”
5) NF – MANSION
If you know me a little bit, you will know I love songs with great Lyrics. A few years ago I found Twenty One Pilots and their songs are so good and hopeful. When I searched for even more Twenty One Pilot reactors on YouTube, I found out a lot of them where also really into the artist called NF. It’s an American rapper who is known for being Christian and he never swears in his songs but you can hear his EMOTIONS in his songs. This song is about his mental health journey. He portraits his Brain as a Mansion with all the different rooms for special moments in his life. A lot of the moments are really bad for his Mental Health and Anxiety problems. He tells his life journey throughout this song, a lot of people don’t know the problems he went trough.
In the the chorus a Female artist sings for him. “Fleurie” is her name and it’s an amazing collaboration, Her voice suits this song so good! This song can not just be Explained. Please listen to this song and watch the Lyrics really carefully, and take a deep dive into NF. I’m thinking of including him in my fav. Artist list as well. His music helps a lot of people who are going trough some mental health issues. For that he gets loads of hate from people who tell him to WRITE A HAPPY SONG and stuff like that. He just tells about his life and please SUPPORT his music.
